Contacting Me on Discord
If you're reaching out to me on Discord, please keep the following expectations in mind:
- Introduce yourself briefly and clearly state your purpose.
- Do not just say "hi" and wait. Please refer to the "no hello" guideline.
- Avoid asking if you can ask something—just ask. See "don't ask to ask".
- Be respectful, concise, and patient if I take time to respond.
- All messages sent to me are treated as private and will not be shared with anyone under any circumstances.
- I expect the same level of confidentiality from you. This includes:
- No forwarding of messages.
- No screenshots of my messages.
- No quoting without explicit permission.
- Please use neurodivergence-friendly communication:
- Avoid vague or overly general language—be as specific and clear as possible.
- Ask clear, direct questions.
- Explain your thoughts step-by-step if needed; avoid assuming shared context.
- Use tone indicators when tone might be unclear. Learn more at the Tone Indicators Wiki.
- Unwanted flirting, sexual connotations, innuendos, or any NSFW content will not be tolerated.
Any such behavior will result in an immediate block and may be reported to Discord and relevant UK authorities.
Legal Notice (UK): Sending unsolicited explicit content or messages with sexual undertones may constitute harassment under the UK's Protection from Harassment Act 1997. Additionally, under the Obscene Publications Act 1959 and the Online Safety Act 2023, it is a criminal offence to transmit or share obscene or harmful material online, including via private messaging platforms.
Absolutely no sexual content involving minors (including fantasy, roleplay, or digital representations) will be tolerated. Such content will be directly reported to law enforcement contacts and to Discord Trust and Safety in accordance with UK law.
By messaging me, you acknowledge and agree to these expectations. Thank you for your understanding.
